Draft Ride

This policy describes how Draft Ride handles information when you create an account, browse rides, join rides, create rides, use live ride features, and contact support.

Information we collect

Account details you provide, such as your email address and profile information.
Ride information you create or join, including titles, notes, timing, route, distance, elevation, and participant status.
Profile media you upload, such as avatar images.
Location data when you enable live ride beacon features, including latitude, longitude, heading, speed, and accuracy.
Local device notification scheduling for ride reminders.

How we use information

Provide account access, authentication, and password recovery.
Show ride details, participant context, and your upcoming ride activity.
Store routes, ride notes, and profile details you choose to publish in the app.
Share live ride location with the ride context when you enable beacon tracking.
Schedule device notifications related to ride check-in and ride window reminders.
Respond to support requests and operational issues.

Location and ride beacon data

Draft Ride requests foreground and background location access only for live ride beacon features. If you enable that feature, the app can send your latitude, longitude, heading, speed, accuracy, and recorded time while your ride window is active so the ride context can reflect your current position. If you do not grant location access, live beacon sharing stays off.

Service providers and infrastructure

The app uses Supabase for authentication, database access, realtime features, and storage such as avatar uploads. The app also uses native map services available through the mobile platforms and may use push or local notification services exposed by iOS and Android.

Data sharing

We share information with service providers that help us operate the app. Within the product, ride and profile information can be visible to other users based on the ride, participation state, and features you use. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

You can update profile information in the app.
You can disable location permissions in your device settings at any time.
You can control notification permissions in your device settings.
